I don’t have the greatest track record in the kitchen. It’s not that my cooking is bad. Not bad, more non-existent. My repertoire includes toast, toast with cheese, toast with avocado, toast with cheese and avocado, scrambled eggs, pasta (topping not included) and a pretty mean tuna salad. I am partially competent at making frozen meals. I know that if I don’t try to teach myself to cook I will end up either malnourished or looking like jabba the hutt, or some combination of the two. This is the space where I’ll explore cheap, delicious, nutritious options for grocery shopping, cooking and eating out in NYC.
